I get a lot of strange looks when I tell people I gave up eating bread not for any health or weight reason, but because of how it makes me feel. Even when I explain it makes me tired and bloated they are adamant they would put up with feeling bad just to be able to eat bread. I understand this, I did it for years, but it was only when I felt what it was like to be free of those symptoms and could feel what real body energy felt like, that I made the choice not to go back. Many people are eating foods every day that give them unwanted symptoms but they carry on. Why? Some do it because they don’t realise how good they would feel without it, but most do it because they put food before life. They assume enjoying food is more important than feeling so full of energy they could do anything they put their mind to. And there is the truth that scares most people. If these people felt amazing, if they had total body energy available to them, they would have to start making the changes they have been putting off. A lot of people finish eating their evening meal and then sit on the sofa and that’s it, they stay there until they go to bed. That used to be me. Now, because I eat for energy, I get up, I write, I work or I go outside. Be aware of anything you are hiding from. If you suddenly had the body you want, the energy you desire, what would you change about your life or would you still be on that sofa? Are you eating the foods that keep you still because you are too scared to move?
